SWI Group Raises €800M at €6.1B Valuation for AI Infrastructure
Euronext Amsterdam-listed SWI Group secures €800 million from institutional investors to expand its transatlantic AI compute platform.
SWI Group, listed on Euronext Amsterdam under the ticker SWICH, announced Monday an €800 million institutional capital increase valued at a final post-money figure of €6.1 billion, with proceeds earmarked for accelerating the company's transatlantic artificial intelligence infrastructure and compute platform.
The Singapore- and Amsterdam-based firm said the capital raise is structured through the issuance of new ordinary shares in several series, a common mechanism that allows companies to stage fundraising tranches while managing dilution and investor appetite across different market windows.

The announcement signals growing institutional confidence in dedicated AI infrastructure operators as demand for high-performance compute capacity continues to outpace available supply across North America and Europe. SWI Group's dual-continent positioning allows it to serve data-intensive workloads on both sides of the Atlantic, a strategic advantage that appears central to its pitch to institutional backers.
At a €6.1 billion valuation, the raise places SWI Group among a notable cohort of European-listed technology infrastructure companies pursuing large-scale capital formation to compete with hyperscale cloud providers. The size and structure of the raise suggest the company is targeting significant near-term buildout rather than incremental expansion.
Full terms of the share issuance, including pricing per series and participating institutional investors, were not disclosed in the initial announcement. Continue reading at All Financial Services & Investing.
